About OFSC District 9
“Ride More, Drive Less” in OFSC District 9 with over 2900km of groomed trails. These trails are proudly developed, and maintained by 26 volunteer based Clubs and Associations.
Aside from wonderful snow conditions, District 9 features a very scenic ride for the winter enthusiast. View rolling rural countryside in the south, which takes you through wooded areas, open fields and small towns. This then leads into to the Niagara Escarpment which cuts across from east to west just south of Georgian Bay, then heads north along the east side of the Bruce Peninsula, and slopes down to the sand beaches along the Lake Huron Shoreline. This diverse geography creates a mixture of riding experiences from farm fields and bush lots, to scenic vistas overlooking Georgian Bay, to beautiful forest trails providing an intimate riding experience.
