Planning A Ride

District 9 is packed with great snowmobile trails, wonderful scenery, and many small businesses that will be happy to fill your tank, serve you a home cooked meal, or provide you with a place to lay your head.

Whether you are planning your day trip, or a multi day excursion use the OFSC Interactive Trail Guide to assist you!  Here you will see all of the trails in District 9 (with the ability to pan to rest of the province as well) colour coded according to their status.

  • Green Trails:  Trails are available for snowmobiling.

  • Yellow Trails:  Trails are passable for marginal snowmobiling;  Some trails may be closed and/or not groomed regularly; Ride with extra caution.

  • Red Trails:  Trails are closed;  Out of respect for our private landowners as well as for your own safety, please stay off closed snowmobile trails.

Look for the "point of interest" spots on the Interactive Guide as well for your food/fuel/accommodation needs.  These people are the best in the business for making snowmobilers feel welcome!
